About the Golden Pansy Awards
Freedom of Speech is under attack in the United States of America. There has been an orchestrated effort among liberal politicians and many in the mainstream media to silence any dissenting viewpoints. Political Correctness has been used by radical, un-American insurgents who cannot compete in the arena of ideas to silence those with whom they disagree. Perhaps now is the time to expose this tyranny against the most precious of our freedoms. For those of you reading this who don't agree, this is America and you are free to leave, not just this site but this land. Go find a place more to your liking such as Caracas or Havana.
Golden Pansy Certificate of Achievement
Throughout the course of the next year, nominees will be awared a Golden Pansy Certificate of Achievement for all of their efforts to further undermine individual rights and freedoms. Nominees will be voted on by our Pansy Panel as well as the general public, who will have a chance to vote for the lamest, most emasculated candidate.
Golden Pansy Nominees
Candidates may be politicians, those in the mainstream media, government employees, activist judges, the hollywood elite or just about anyone else who has stooped so low as to threaten our individual rights or economic freedoms.
The Golden Pansy Award Ceremony
We will hold our first annual Golden Pansy Awards ceremony in October, 2008, where the pansies of the year will be invited to attend a star studded evening as they compete for one of our coveted Golden Pansy figurines and an all expense paid one way ticket to Caracas, where they may find the environment a little more to their liking. We hope you enjoy the site and encourage you to come back often as we find out who will ultimately be crowned the most emasculated, politically correct, un-American pansy in the land.
